Albrighton Hall Wedding Photography

A Sunshine-Soaked Easter Wedding at Albrighton Hall in Shrewsbury. Full of Love, Laughter and Mini Eggs!

As a Wedding Photographer, I’ve seen my fair share of beautiful days, but Easter Sunday at Albrighton Hall was something else. The weather was perfect, blue skies & blazing sunshine. This set the perfect tone for a day that was equal parts heartfelt and high-energy.

The Easter theme made subtle but sweet appearances, most notably on the wedding cake—half-covered in Mini Eggs. Along with personalised Easter Eggs as gifts for the bridal party during the speeches.

Albrighton Hall provided the most stunning backdrop, with its peaceful lake glistening —an absolute dream for couple portraits. We made the most of it, capturing intimate moments with the newlyweds.

From the start, the day was filled with genuine emotion. During the ceremony, James, struggled to hold back the tears as he saw Kelly walk down the aisle. It’s always such a privilege to witness and photograph those raw, unfiltered moments of love.

Later in the day, the energy ramped up with fun-filled speeches that had everyone in stitches. James & Kelly also had a brilliant “table dash”—a speedy and laughter-packed mission where they ran from table to table getting group shots with all their guests. It was chaos, in the best possible way!

I was lucky to be joined on the day by Sylie Pope, a fantastic second photographer who helped capture all the extra angles and details. This was especially helpful during the more fast-paced moments of the day.

One of the most memorable moments for me was the first dance. An emotional start with the bride and groom, followed by a heartfelt dance between Kelly and her son, Ben.

Weddings like this are the reason I love what I do. They’re a reminder that photography isn’t about posed smiles—it’s about capturing emotion, connection, and those split-second moments that make each wedding unique.

If you’re planning your big day and looking for a relaxed and experienced wedding photographer, I’d love to hear more about your plans.
