On the 15th July this year we joined Caris and Alex for their special day for a civil service followed by a beautiful wedding breakfast at The Old Vicarage at Worfield.
We joined Caris in-venue for her bridal preparations. Caris’s stunning up-do was styled by Cassie Jennings, and her makeup by makeup artist Hannah Taylor. Her look was completed with a striking sweetheart gown from Tamsin’s Bridal Boutique, Kidderminster. She was accompanied by her adorable niece and first time bridesmaid.
Alex and his groomsmen awaited the bride wearing dashing tweed suits from Duncan James, Walsall , with just the slightest hint of pink in the form of neckties and buttons holes, to tie into Caris’s beautiful modern bouquet, which were provided by Cook’s. Beautiful hints of pink, yellow and cream also adorned the floral table topper at which the couple took their very emotional vows.
Caris and Alex continued their special day at a rustic themed wedding breakfast. Gorgeous weather allowed us to really enjoy snapping outside amongst rolling green hills which the Old Vicarage backs on to. This gave us some great candid shots of the guests enjoying themselves, as well as the chance to get some lovely intimate shots of the happy couple in their first moments of marital bliss. The party continued inside amongst hints of pastels and rustic hessian and paper chains. The impressive modern wedding cake was provided by Alex’s Mum!
Caris and Alex danced the night away, as well as enjoying entertainment provided by their very own magician and a classic ‘boys tradition’ of cigars & brandy.
Our second shooter for the day was Fred Hubble who provided us with another angle for photographs and captured bridal arrival whilst I photographed a rather nervous Alex.
