On a chilly December morning, we set off down winding country lanes to meet Aimee and Joseph for their wedding at The Grain Loft in Craven Arms. Nestled deep in the Shropshire countryside, The Grain Loft is a charming hidden gem of a venue that provided a picturesque canvas for Aimee and Joseph’s beautiful intimate wedding.
The exposed wooden beams and soft lighting set the stage for a celebration that would be remembered for its personal touches and attention to detail. Aimee and her bridesmaids prepared for the day in the charming farmhouse, with hair by Sarah Jaye and makeup by Jess Everall. This was a perfect point in the day to get to know everyone and capture some memorable moments with close family as well as all the special details that had so lovingly been thought of. Aimee and Joseph exchanged vows in a heartfelt ceremony surrounded by loved ones including relatives watching remotely via video link. The venue boasts many gorgeous spots for photos, from the farmhouse exterior and barns to the country garden, and finally, endless sheep-dotted hills that seem to go on forever. We were spoilt for choice! Although the day was cold, the sun was shining and Aimee and Joseph braved the temperatures to make use of these fantastic locations for their photographs. The winter theme was elegantly reflected in every detail of the wedding, from Aimee’s gown to the rich colour palette of the decor. Touches of winter foliage, soft greens, and creams, as well as the tiniest hint of Christmas sparkle, really set off this impressive and welcoming location.
We had a blast capturing so many exquisite details, from personalised activity packs, mini-shots, and fabulous cakes by Georgeous Cakes, to the well-placed children’s corner provided especially for little guests. There’s nothing more heartwarming than grownups and kids getting involved in the dress-up box! As the night unfolded, Wild Fire Pizza Co mobile pizza van came to life, offering a delectable selection of handcrafted pizzas, as well as drinks provided by The Watering Hole and their delightful converted horsebox bar. Aimee and Joseph’s winter wedding was a testament to the couple’s creativity and commitment to providing a unique and delightful experience for their guests. It truly was a warm, intimate wedding that left everyone with special memories of a truly special day.
Thank you for making us a part of it and we wish you every happiness for your future together.
