Naomi and Gavin had chosen to have my top Wedding Photography Package which included a second photographer to capture the day from another angle and add another perspective to every key moment during the day. For this wedding I was joined by Justyna of Vanilla Scent Photography to work as my second photographer.
We began our day photographing Naomi’s bridal preparations; it’s always a true joy to see the brides beautiful nervous smiles before the festivities begin! As any bride should, Naomi stole the show wearing a striking strapless gown from Urban Ivory, and her look was completed with hair and makeup by Bryn Abraham Jones. A beautiful sunny morning saw Naomi making her way to the church in a white Beauford, provided and decorated to perfection by Finishing Touch Cars and after a minor panic en route due to traffic holding the bridal cars and us up we arrived. Gavin and his groomsmen were ready and waiting, looking dapper in suits provided by Nicholas Smith of Brierly Hill. The church was decorated with flowers provided by Coop Flowers of Great Barr. The company also produced Naomi’s beautiful traditional bouquet, bursting with antique pink roses and ivy.
After completing their vows and walking down the aisle in style at St Margaret’s, Naomi and Gavin made their way to their reception at The Village Hotel in Dudley. The happy couple selected a ‘Vintage’ theme for their decor, which saw soft shades of cream and accents of stone and tarnished metal centrepieces, each with a special meaning behind it giving their tables the perfect finishing touch. The beautiful three-tiered wedding cake was provided by the mothers of the bride and groom.
I asked the bride and groom what their favourite part of the day was, and they told us ‘All of it! But if I had to choose then it would be the vows and the speeches!’
Thank you Naomi & Gavin for making us a part of your special day, we wish you a lifetime of happiness together
