A Beautiful Worcester Wedding: Sophie & Kerry’s Special Day
I recently had the pleasure of photographing Sophie and Kerry’s wedding, and it was truly a day to remember. The wedding took place in Worcester, a city that offers some of the most stunning backdrops for wedding photography, and Sophie and Kerry’s celebration was no exception. Their day was filled with love, laughter, and a few unique touches that made it truly their own.
The Ceremony at The Guild Hall, Worcester
The day began at the breathtaking Guild Hall in Worcester. If you’ve never been, The Guild Hall is a hidden gem in the city, boasting a stunning blend of history and grandeur. With its ornate ceilings, grand staircases, and beautiful architecture, it’s a dream venue for wedding photography.
A Relaxed Vibe and Family Connections
What stood out most about Sophie and Kerry’s wedding was the wonderfully relaxed vibe throughout the day. From the moment the ceremony concluded, you could feel the excitement in the air as everyone prepared to head to the reception. The couple’s easy-going nature shone through.
Reception at Leigh and Bransford Memorial Hall
After the beautiful ceremony, the celebration continued at Leigh and Bransford Memorial Hall. This charming venue, nestled in the Worcestershire countryside, provided the perfect setting for a relaxed reception with a big field for the kids to run around and play football and badminton. The highlight of the afternoon? A mouth-watering Hog Roast that had everyone talking!
Special Guests: The Family Dogs
One of the most memorable parts of the day was when Sophie and Kerry’s family dogs made an appearance. As a wedding photographer, it’s always fun to see couples incorporate personal touches, and having their furry friends join in for a few photos was a fantastic idea. It worked especially well as a follow on from the outdoor engagement family photo shoot we’d done earlier in the year together at Kinver Edge.
Photographing weddings in Worcester is always a treat. The city offers such a variety of beautiful locations, from historic buildings like The Guild Hall to the picturesque countryside around Leigh and Bransford.
For those looking for a wedding photographer in Worcester, whether you’re planning a grand affair at The Guild Hall or a more intimate celebration in the Worcestershire countryside, the city offers endless opportunities to capture your special day in all its glory.
Sophie and Kerry I wish you many happy years together and thank you again for asking me to be the one to capture your beautiful wedding day.
